Dear Families,
Our class mascot is Bucky Badger and we are proud to affiliate ourselves with the University of Wisconsin, Madison! We wear Wisconsin Badger T-shirts every Wednesday or we wear Wisconsin Badger colors (red and white). We also celebrate our school by wearing Mission Meadows Mustang T-shirts on Fridays!
Please send in a healthy snack with your child everyday. Please teach your child how to open and close plastic snack containers, water bottles, juice boxes and plastic baggies. Every year ants enjoy visiting our classroom especially if snack/lunch bags are left open. Have your child bring their snack in a lunch bag/box. Please indicate to your child what he/she can have for snack and what must be saved for lunch. For example, you can indicate snack by placing a smiley face on the container or baggie.
At the end of the day, all TK and Kindergarten teachers walk students out to meet their parent or place them on their specified bus. Every week our TK/K teachers rotate their after school duties. On Back to School Night, I will give you a note to fill out. This note will tell me how your child will go home. If you indicate that someone else will be picking up your child please make sure that they have their driver's licence or military I.D. All TK/K teachers will be checking them. Please be patient on the first few weeks of school. I want to make sure your child goes home safely and happy.
